Tetons from Schwabacher's Landing
This spot is fantastically gorgeous. The views of the Tetons are just about perfect, and the reflections you can get from the calm meandering water is just magical. For you photographers out there, get here a little before sunrise, and expect company when you arrive. Very popular spot.
Bison Herd Preparing to Cross
This photo is just quintessential Yellowstone. The herds of bison are one of the most well known features of the park, and on this beautiful and cold morning, they were preparing to cross the river as the sun crept over the mountains behind me and lit the field with a nice golden light.
Looking up at the Giants
This was taken in Northern California as I hiked through the gigantic redwood trees that call this region home. This was an attempt to show the sheer scale of these monarchs of the forest. It’s nearly impossible to adequately capture these trees in a photo, so do yourself a favor, and just plan a visit at least once in your life.
Exploring Another National Forest
This was shot on an excursion into Northern California through some beautiful Redwood forests. The feeling of this place is indescribable. The forest just feels ancient, muffled, and altogether magical.
Grand Teton Highway
This was taken on one of the roads in Grand Teton National Park, and I feel like this is one of the few roads that I’d never get tired of driving even if I had to do it every single day.
